Kingfisher Bend Ranch, or KBR, was constructed in 2001. It is named for both the presence of the unique

kingfisher bird and because of its unusually tranquil environment. The Ranch has been created to provide guests the

opportunity to enjoy a peaceful, beautiful and rather remarkable place away from the hustle of life.

Kingfisher Bend Ranch is ideal for couples, families, retreats, training events and seminars.  Brian Robinson

manages the ranch with the help of his wife, Teresa, and their girls.

KBR features three guest units - a main lodge and two pond cabins. The Main Lodge has beds for 12 and the Pond

Cabins have beds for four. Each unit is well equipped and tastefully decorated, so you can enjoy nature in a rustic setting

without sacrificing comfort.   (See Cabin Rentals).

There are many wonderful activities available at the Ranch. These include guided horseback riding (free to guests), hiking, river and pond fishing, campfires, rowing or kayaking on the pond, swimming and exploring. The Ranch also has a basketball/pickleball court, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and a Frisbee golf course.  In addition, there is much to do in the nearby Uinta Mountains, in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest and in Evanston, Wyoming.   (See Activities for a more detailed list).

Kingfisher Bend Ranch is a working cattle ranch as well as a guest ranch.  Livestock at the Ranch includes our small "fold" (herd) of photogenic, long-haired, long-horned, Scottish Highland cattle, our saddle horses, and the more common Black Angus beef cattle.

Once you’ve experienced Kingfisher Bend Ranch, you are certain to be a life-long fan. KBR has become an annual pilgrimage for many. We would love to have you become part of the KBR family. Contact us soon to schedule your visit.
