Kingfisher Bend Ranch (KBR) was established in 2001 by Ted and Charolette Jacobsen and their family. The ranch was created to provide guests the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful, beautiful and rather remarkable place away from the hustle of life.

KBR is ideal for couples, families, retreats, training events and seminars.  Brian Robinson manages the ranch with the help of his wife, Teresa, and their daughters.

KBR has three guest units, a Main Lodge and two Pond Cabins. The Main Lodge has beds for twelve and the Pond Cabins each have beds for four. Each unit is well equipped and tastefully decorated, so you can enjoy nature in a rustic setting without sacrificing comfort.

There are many wonderful activities available at KBR. These include guided horseback riding (free for guests), hiking, river and pond fishing, campfires, rowing or kayaking on the pond, swimming, and exploring. The ranch also has a basketball and pickleball court, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and a Frisbee golf course.  In addition, there is much to do in the nearby Uinta Mountains, in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest and in Evanston, Wyoming.

KBR is a working cattle ranch as well as a guest ranch.  Livestock at the Ranch includes a small herd of photogenic, long-haired, long-horned Scottish Highland cattle, saddle horses, and Black Angus beef cattle.

Once you’ve experienced KBR, you are certain to be a life-long fan. KBR has become an annual pilgrimage for many. We would love to have you become part of the KBR family. Contact us soon to schedule your visit!
