Only family members may view the Calendar page.

Kingfisher Bend Ranch offers four comfortable guest units. The ranch is equipped with phones and an intercom system between each unit. Units are equipped with bedding and towels, and two porta cribs are available for infants. Unless other arrangements are made with the ranch manager, guests may arrive at KBR anytime after 10:00 a.m. on the first day of their stay and they should depart from KBR no later than 4:00 p.m. on the last day of their stay. At least 48 hours before your planned arrival at KBR, PLEASE inform the ranch manager of your planned arrival time. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.

The single story, east portion of the Main Lodge (MLE) has three bedrooms, one bathroom, a washer and dryer, a large living room and a well equipped kitchen. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and one bedroom has two twin beds.

The two story, west portion of the Main Lodge (MLW) has a well equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area with an electric piano and two dining tables making it ideal for gathering your family or group for meals and meetings, and a game room upstairs. Other MLW features include:

  • Four bedrooms with beds for 12 people. Two bedrooms are equipped with two bunk-beds each; the other two bedrooms have queen beds.

  • The first floor of the MLW and the bathroom on the first floor are handicap accessible

  • Complete laundry facility with washer and dryer

  • Two full bathrooms

  • The game room has a ping-pong table, foosball table and assorted toys.

All the units have wireless internet to keep you connected to civilization (only if you want to be, of course).

A five minute walk from the Main Lodge are two pond cabins (EPC and WPC) situated next to a 1-1/2 acre pond stocked with trout. The cabins are generously spaced apart to provide privacy and a sense of seclusion. They each have:

  • A well equipped kitchen and dining area

  • Two bedrooms with beds for four people. The master bedroom features a queen bed and the second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds.  Also, there is a queen size sofa sleeper in each living room.

  • A Jotul gas burning heater

  • One full bathroom

Unless other arrangements are agreed upon, at the end of their stay at KBR guests are responsible for (1) thoroughly cleaning their guest unit(s) per a checklist, (2) laundering all sheets, pillow cases, towels etc, (3) making all beds that were used with clean sheets and pillow cases, and (4) putting clean towels and wash cloths in all bathrooms. Alternatively, guests can have Teresa Robinson do the cleaning and/or the laundry if they leave cash or a check (payable to Teresa Robinson) on the kitchen table of the guest unit. The amount payable to Teresa for such work is shown on a chart with the cleaning checklist.

Dogs are allowed at KBR with the following restrictions:

1.Dogs must be kept on a leash or otherwise restrained whenever any horses outside of the horse pasture, the riding arena, or the corrals are “nearby" (i.e., within about 300 feet of the dog and the dog and the horse are visible to each other). This applies not only to times when someone is riding a horse but also when horses are being gathered, saddled and unsaddled at the barn. For example, if horses are being saddled and then taken to the riding arena to ride, a dog at the Main Lodge would need to be leashed or otherwise restrained the entire time the horses were being saddled and used in the riding arena. A dog at a Pond Cabin during the same event would not need to be leashed or restrained unless the dog owner observes a guided horseback ride coming near the Pond Cabin.

2. Dogs are allowed inside the east portion of the Main Lodge (MLE), but not inside the larger, two story west portion of the Main Lodge (MLW). Dogs are allowed on the front porch of the Main Lodge and in the barn unless there is a horse in the barn that is not in a stall.

3. Dogs are allowed inside the West Pond Cabin (WPC) but not inside the East Pond Cabin (EPC).

4. Any damage caused by a dog (or kids ) is to be promptly repaired at the sole expense of the dog’s owner.

5. Dog poop near any of the guest units, the barn, the pond, the riding arena, Palm Beach, the Frisbee golf course, and well-used trails should be cleaned up and disposed of by the dog's owner.

Smoking and vaping are not allowed in any of the KBR guest units or in the KBR barn.

Persons of legal drinking age staying at KBR are allowed to responsibly consume alcohol at KBR. Anyone who has consumed alcohol in any amount in the previous six hours must pass a 0.05% or less blood alcohol test with a breathalyzer before being allowed to (1) operate a motor vehicle of any kind (car, truck, ATV, snowmobile, etc.) at KBR (even to depart from KBR on KBR’s access road) or (2) hunt at KBR. This policy must be enforced by the person hosting a group at KBR - an owner of KBR, a hunting guide, etc. A breathalyzer is available for use at KBR. It is stored in the desk in the office/game room of MLE. Mouthpieces for the breathalyzer which are used for a test should be cleaned with hot soapy water, dried and placed back in the breathalyzer kit.
