Kingfisher Bend Ranch

KBR Comprehensive Policy
1. Lodging & Guest Responsibilities
Arrival & Departure
-
Coordinate with the ranch manager if you plan to arrive or depart on the same day as other guests. This is especially important if you're arriving on a day someone else is leaving to avoid scheduling conflicts.
-
Please inform the ranch manager of your planned arrival time at least 48 hours in advance.
Cleaning Responsibilities
-
Unless other arrangements are made, guests are expected to:
-
Thoroughly clean their guest unit(s) following the posted checklist (like an Airbnb).
-
Launder all used sheets, pillowcases, and towels.
-
Remake all used beds with clean linens.
-
Restock bathrooms with clean towels and washcloths.
-
-
If you’d like to pay to have cleaning done for you, notify the ranch manager in advance to ensure it can be scheduled.
-
Cleaning lists are available on/by the refrigerators, except the MLW list, which is across from the large garbage in the laundry room.
2. Horses
-
DO NOT enter any enclosed area with horses unless a Robinson family member is present.
-
Even gentle horses can be dangerous without supervision.
-
Pastures and corrals are sometimes used to manage feeding or rotation—do not turn horses out.
-
-
If horses are in an open pasture, you may enter, but:
-
Always close the gate behind you.
-
Make sure the horses can safely get away from you if needed.
-
3. Gates
-
Follow the farm and ranch “code” for gates:
-
Leave it as you found it:
-
If open, leave it open.
-
If closed, close it behind you.
-
If locked, re-lock it.
-
If chained, re-chain it correctly:
-
Wrap the chain around the post.
-
Hook it in the gate’s slot.
-
Tuck the chain’s tail under the wrap (some animals can undo poor chaining).
-
-
-
-
Cards will be placed on gates as reminders
-
The chain should be wrapped around the post, hooked in the slot on the gate and the “tail” of the chain then tucked under the chain.
