Several big game species make their home on KBR. The ranch is bordered by massive tracts of private rangeland and the Uinta National Forest is nearby. Each fall, large mule deer bucks often wander through our front yard early in the morning and bull elk can be heard bugling nearby. Elk frequently spend a month or so on our property en route to and from their winter range. And, because KBR is located on the river bottoms of the Bear River, moose are commonly seen throughout the year.
